Music Visualisations App...

For a while I've been struggling with the limited music visualisations in kodi, particularly on android... I can't remember why the Arm chip can't handle milkdrop, but think I just found the solution.

Take a look at Project M in the playstorè, I got some great results!

Hallelujah Minix got the solution, Amazon Instant Video App is running on the new firmware 008 for my Neo 8-H.
It only lasts 2 years and is still Android 4 software with all known bugs, bravo!!!! Thank you Ken......

Any way to enable other remote?

Hello, is it any way to control the Minix with another remote? Let's say WDTV Live remote or any other. I have root acces and found .kl files in /system/usr/keylayout/ But I don't know how to change it. I have pronto hex codes for my wdtv live remote, but in Generik.kl it's something like 3Digit code. I don't like the stock remote or the A2 remote, let's be honest, stock remote sucks alot, hard to press, makes some noise on button press, and itdoesn't have play/pause buttons. The A2 and other...

Any way to enable other remote?

Crackle app

Has anyone been able to get the Crackle app working. I have the Minix X8 H Plus and the app just crashes and exits? I would love to be able to play the films off of www.crackle.com but the app doesn't work and I am not able to play the films in any browser. I also found an XBMC add on called Crackler (don't know if it's related) but it doesn't work either. Here is the app in the Google play store...

TeamViewer 11

i just upgraded to TeamViewer 11 on my PC and installed TeamViewer Host on to the Minix box, it's available from the Play store.

It works great, I can now transfer files from my PC to the Minix box and vice a versa. I can install apps and control the Minix box from anywhere, this will help when I,m out and my wife wants something installed or setup.
This is good for me as the rest of the family can watch tv as I play around with the Minix box from the PC.

globoplay app - video does not play

the app installs and works but doesn't play the videos. instead it shows the loading icon for some seconds and then shows a message saying "video format is not supported in this device".
i have all famous video players installed, such as, VLC, bsplayer, mx player. any chance the firmware is missing codecs? the app says it's compatible with android 4.x.x+ and i have friends that can run it fine from their android phones.

Internet browser full screen

Hello ,i dont see tutorial for the normal internet browser to change them on full screen
So i make this tutorial : View attachment 2896

normaly it looks like this , to change to full screen go internet settings (the 3 points on the right)

wifi/ ethernet switch

Is there any aplication that can switch between Ethernet/Wifi?

I would need that because my internet provider cant set me multicast on any port, because I live too near the main switchboard of my provider. So option is (in my head):
- connected ethernet, so I can watch IPTV from my provider on minix
- ethernet/wifi switch where I switch from ethernet to wifi when I need to go on internet and vice versa.

First off, want to say thanks to both ENDRJUPL and Villa for the help in setting up my Minix box as well as explaining how everything "works" :)

I am now looking into Live TV options and have found that there always seems to be a new hot add-on that fizzles out quick. Are there any reliable Live TV (IPTV) add-ons in Kodi? I am looking to finally cut the cord in full but need to first find a reliable substitute for live tv. Looking for all the basic network channels as well as...

I own a minix 8h currently running Kodi 14.2 I tried updating this from a downloaded apk & stick containg the official apk file to Kodi 15.2 after installing the apk Kodi system info tells me I am still on 14.2.
Could anyone please tell me where I going wrong OR what I have got to do to update my Minix box

Problem with Exodus

I just installed Exodus in kodi on a new U1 and for some reason some of the categories do not work. When I go under movies it will no let me search under year and a few other sections. I installed Exodus on another U1 the other day and did not have this problem. I have tried uninstalling and re- installing Exodus. I even re-ran the config wizard but nothing is solving the issue.

Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions on what can be done ??

Hi,

Does anyone have problem watching korean dramas on Viu apps?

It cannot worked on my X7 pro and X8h-Plus...dramas cannot play after advertisement.

another user also has the same issue with X6 and X8h-plus.

Looking for help I have the minix 7 mini just updated to kodi 16 through play store works well but no sound. You have to turn the volume all the way up then it has sound then you turn it down. I am new to this. Any ideas will be great.

Clash Royale not working on minix u1

Just bought minix u1 and installed clash Royale and its not working? I've done a couple of times of factory reset ,Tried also resetting through recovery mode and non is working.When I try to load the game all I see is a black screen but I've tried other games like clash of clans and others..it's working perfectly... Hope someone can help or experience this.. Thanks
